What we measured
- Context7 (current library docs for a coding agent): no API key needed; two of our three test questions came back correct in about two seconds each; one answer missed a table. Follow the source link when it matters. Full test
- Playwright MCP (lets an agent drive a real browser): 25 tools, starts in 1.4 seconds, no account. Headless Chrome took about 840 MB with one page open, and one full page snapshot was 32,732 characters (about 8,000 tokens). Use its find tool to keep that small. Full test
